Tempe YL leaders and committee went on their annual leadership weekend, but instead of Rocky Point (which is where we usually go) we went to MISSION BEACH last weekend for a beautiful 3 day trip. We stayed at 2 BIG houses on the beach and enjoyed sunny weather, great food, and friendship.
The highlight of the trip was watching Garrison on the beach.
He has been several times, but this is the first time since he has been walking and been able to enjoy it. He LOVED playing in the sand and running in the water- and away from the water. He wore his cute little trunks, rash guard, and hat and played for hours. We went to Sunset Point one night to watch the sunset which was amazing. I got to sit around, drink lots of coffee, and spend time talking with friends. It was a great break and I look forward to next year.
And we got to watch the BIG CARDINALS WIN!!!! Here is everyone running into the ocean for a celebration post game.
